     Monthly Member Meetings                                                                                                                              … Meetings list & details

RBNS members meet monthly to share ideas and resources, connect, expand and grow together learn from each-other, assist fellow entrepreneurs develop and grow successful businesses. Our Monthly Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, from 8-10 PM, and are structured according to a set agenda:

    1. President's report on BoD Activities re. regular organization business, upcoming events, etc.)

    2. Around the table 1- minute member presentations of their business or news of interest from field they work in. Promotional materials (business cards /brochures) are circulated.

    3. One or Two 15-minute presentations by members about issues in their area of expertise. Summaries of each presentation, including name, company and contact information of the presenter, are published a dedicated column offered by the  "Acasa" newspaper, in the issue immediately following the presentation.

    4. Networking conversations - one-on-one or in group - 30 minutes

One week prior to each meeting, a "Reminder" e-mail is sent to all members, stating the date, time, location and agenda for the upcoming meeting.

In addition to regular member meetings, each year RBNS organizes 2-3 ticketed networking events, with topical presentations. and opportunities to network with guests from the community at large.  “Learn-Share-Network” events are open to members and non-members alike. They are advertized in different ways, including, social media sites (LinkedIn and Facebook), the "Acasa" newspaper, fliers displayed at professional offices, direct e-mails to members' contacts, etc.

With a set agenda, usually consisting of two 20-minute presentations by RBNS members and ample time for questions, discussions and networking over snacks and refreshments, each Learn-Share-Network event is organized at a larger venue, usually rented for this occasion.

    •  Multiple copies of RBNS and its members' promotional materials are displayed for guests to pick up.

    • Member and non-member guests fill out a short Feed-back questionnaire to guide us in organizing future successful events.

    •  A synopsis, including summaries of presentations are published the "Acasa" newspaper, in the issue  following the event.                                                                                            

     Special Occasion Dinner Events                                                                                                                         … Events list & details

Special occasion ticketed dinner events provide further opportunities for networking and promotion for the organization and members’ businesses in a festive environment.

RBNS organizes 1-2 tiketed networking dinners /year, to celebrate special events. These dinners provide excellent opportunities for fund-raising, through special sponsorship packages, and for promoting the organization and its members through a slideshow of members' banners, door prizes and take-away bags with presents and various promotional materials, all in a relaxed and festive athmosphere, over good food, music and dance.

Events Supported by RBNS                                    

RBNS supports events and activities organized by the Romanian community, by participating as paying exhibitors to events such as the annual "Sarbatoarea Romanilor", or by sponsoring selected community activities.
